Da dervish!

Today I went to Martijn from Sickboards to check out the Vanguard and the Dervish. He had a Dervish setup so i could try that one. Very kind of him.

I settled on the Dervish, because of the comments I got, and what i read up on Silverfish and longboarden .

I only rode it a teeny weenie bit today, but I really enjoyed that little ride. Tomorrow I will ride it harder, do a bit of downhill, and maybe even try out my slide gloves…

Here is what it looks like.

Loaded Dervish Flex 2. Randal RII 180 trucks Abec Gumball 76mm, 78a Rockin’ Ron Cruise Missiles Bearings.

The whole thing is loaded to GO! There is a slight discoloration in the board, but I don’t really mind… Let me know what you think, and what tricks i should learn first. Dying to learn cross-steppin and chopping-wood.

Oh, by the way, the asphalt underneath that Derwish is the brand new stuff of the biggest skatepark of the Benelux, right here in my hometown of Amersfoort.

    By the way, I succeeded the cross-step pretty good. And think I made some progress on “chopping wood”.

    I even tried a few inches of nose manual
