This is the pattern I designed for Porsche, via my friends at innberg, for Cayman for Kids. It is used on a Porsche Cayman to celebrate 60 years of Porsche in the Netherlands this year.
The stripes are colourful and meant to be fun, but are also based on Porsche’s history: Every stripe is a colour car they offered; from the 50’s to the current 00’s; you can see the time pass per decade from left (front of the car) to right (rear). Every decade is represented with 25 colours.
The stripes have a practical element too: You can sponsor the project and get your name on a stripe and get the car for a day. At the end the money goes to the Dutch make a wish foundation.
There are still stripes available, but you’d have to be based in the Netherlands to take advantage of the day with the car. You can apply on the site if you are interested.
verdad!
